PRIVATE PERSONAL TRAINER
Summary From the Founder
My name's Alex, I'm a certified Personal Trainer & Nutritionist in West London & founder of West London PT. If any of these phrases sound like you, we may be able to help.
"Since having kids, I haven't found time to train."
"I need help to build and maintain muscle mass."
"I want to kick back into gear after an injury."
"I want to lose weight, feel good and get toned all around."
"I've lost motivation before - I want to be held to account! "
Our approach is minimalist and scientific. We understand that time is short for everybody, and we formulate a clear, no-frills exercise and nutrition plan for each client to maximise what you achieve.
Outside of proven results, we're most rewarded by helping people change their relationship with exercise. Clients are often surprised that they find themselves looking forward to training for the first time. It's a pleasure to hear, and something we try to help everyone experience.
WHAT WE CAN HELP WITH
Feel better mentally and physically whilst looking out for your future self. Prevent injury, improve posture, maintain muscle mass and bone density.
Goal: Body Recomp. & Wellbeing
Obstacles: Routine, Work Schedule
For anyone like me, with a desk job and lots of deadlines and stress and seemingly no time to exercise, signing on with Alex will be one of the best things you can do for yourself.
I'm now in the best shape of my adult life and look forward to improving on it.
WHAT TO EXPECT
FROM YOUR TRAINER
In a nutshell: technical expertise and empathy.
Each WLPT associate has their own style, but knowledge and kindness endure. They’ll push you to progress, but none are the sort to shout. They know that building fitness is a mental journey as much as a physical one.
You can expect honest input about what’s required, but patience and flexibility should you stumble. We don’t chastise. It’s just not our style.
FROM THE PROCESS
Training is educational - we want you to feel confident without us down the line. The process breaks down into three stages:
1. Setting clear, measurable goals and collaboratively devising an exercise strategy to achieve them.
2. Establishing a nutrition strategy to run alongside where needed.
3. Measured progressions each week until your goal is surpassed.
WHY WE HAVE A HIGH SUCCESS RATE
The West London PT philosophy focuses on two things above all:
1) Empathy: The better we understand you, the better the results.
2) Education: Teaching clients a scientific foundation so they can progress independently.
How much can you achieve working off foundation principles?
About 75% of Olympic-level performance. It would take a lot of effort, but that's how far the basics of strength, cardio and mobility can carry you.
Our clients are not Olympic athletes. They are, however, short on time.
The simple, zero-fluff approach maximises results from sessions.
Combine this with clear direction on diet (free personal analysis, macronutrient breakdowns), and you get fast - but sustainable - changes.
Personal training should be an education. One that saves you from being susceptible to fad diets and poor exercise programmes for the rest of your life.
We go above and beyond to give clients the confidence they need to carry out their fitness programmes once they finish with PT.
You'll also receive lifetime support once you're done. If you have a question, just message your trainer and they'll be happy to help.
THE FIRST STEP
This free discussion can take place by phone, Zoom or even over a coffee in person. We'll get to know your goals, fitness history, likes and dislikes. If it's within our expertise, we'll begin strategising the best possible plan for your circumstances.
Once we have an understanding, you'll be offered. a 60 minute trial session to give you a first-hand experience before committing.
